Vikings comes to an end this year, but its saga will not end yet. according to deadline, a Netflix announced the production of Vikings: Valhalla, a series derived from the work of History channel.
O spin off will be set 100 years after the events of the original series. The idea is to follow the adventures of some of the most famous Vikings (and their descendants) who ever lived fighting for survival: Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald III of Norway and William I of England.
The new account project with Jeb Stuart how showrunner and returns with the creator Michael Hirst, beside Morgan O'Sullivan as executive producer.
Vikings: Valhalla already has 24 initial episodes ordered. The final season of Vikings debuts on History on December 4th.
