HBO has just released the new trailer for its new series Watchmen. The video was shown during Comic-Con 2019.

Based on the renowned graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Watchmen presents a dystopia with an alternate version of the story set in the year 1985 at the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. The plot revolves around a group of American superheroes, mostly retired, who investigate the murder of one of them and, in the process, uncover a conspiracy that could change the course of history.
