Olivia Colman, which recently starred in the series The Crown, and is known for her work in Broadchurch, will star in the criminal drama directed by Alexander Payne, Landscapers, for HBO and Sky Crime.

According to the deadline, the series is produced by the producer of Chernobyl and the first television script by Ed Sinclair, Colman's husband. The four-part series is the latest co-production between the two companies, following the success of the drama Chernobyl.

Inspired by real events, the plot tells the story of the killers Susan and Christopher Edwards. Colman will play Susan Edwards. The couple killed Susan's parents and buried them in their backyard. The crime remained unknown for more than a decade. Patricia and William Wycherley were shot dead at their home in Mansfield in 1998.

Through various perspectives, from Susan and Chris, to the police and lawyers involved in the investigation, the drama also explores how the couple considered themselves a Hollywood hero in their own history.

The series will begin filming in 2020 and will air on Sky Atlantic and Now TV, as well as on HBO.
