The first three episodes were very good. Even though it has slower content, as Thorfinn is still not the same as what fans are used to seeing, this narrative is purposeful to make the viewer a little more comfortable with the character's life as a slave.

Even though the narrative is – for now – lighter than the previous season, Vinland Saga Season 2 It starts off quite impressively by introducing Einar, who doesn't seem like a very interesting character, but who soon shows himself to be as promising as the protagonist Thorfinn.

The look of this second season is in the hands of another producer, Mappa, and it has done a good job, as the first episodes seen so far require something calmer and less dense than what viewers are used to.

Vinland Saga Season 2 returns to presenting Thorfinn's journey, now with new characters, in addition to presenting a Thorfinn completely traumatized and with no expectations for the future.
